Difficult conditions were present during ARRL (American Radio Relay League) RTTY Round Up Contest held on weekend 8.-9.1.2011, but my WAS (Worked All States) award hunt was partially successfull thanks to KB7Q (Montana) and KU1T (West Virginia) on 14 MHz reaching total count of 46 states (North Dakota, Wyoming, Utah, Idaho still missing). N7ESU (Idaho) was shortly on my screen but I could not break the big guns. I hope next time maybe it will be better. Compared to the same contest one year ago final result was 20% better, mainly having more contacts/multipliers on 14 MHz reaching 23 US states and opening of 15m band.
Nice suprise was comming on Monday 10th Jan. 2011 (next day after the contest finish) when I found on ARRL Log of the World both new US states contacts KB7Q Contest Results - YEAR 2011
