During the weekend 12.-13.5.2005 was running 24-hour RTTY contest with very special contest rules - Alessandro Volta RTTY DX Contest. It was also my first occasion to use new FD4 antenna erected last week of April 2007.

I started the contest on 14 Mhz band which was partly opened to Far East and between 14-17 UTC I worked station from Japan (JF2BDK, JA5JWQ, JR3NZC, JL1ARF) and Hong Kong (VR2XLN). Sudently opened South America direction (PT7AZ Brazil 17:26). Some suprise started also on 21 MHz band (LS1D Argentina 14:40) with YV1RDX (Venezuela) heard but unfortunatelly not worked. On the next day was early in the morning was comming ZM2A (New Zeeland 4:13 UTC) with good signals on 7 MHz - QSO was complete. Later in the morning (8-9 UTC) 21 MHz opened to the Far East and I worked with 9V1UV (Singapore), E21YDP (Thailand), VR2XMT (Hong Kong). Stations from Philippines DU1IVT and DU1RM I heard but NC.

The final contest result was calculated 24378816 points total, with 1122 QSO points, 97 multipliers and 224 contacts.

More as one year ago I found Joomla Content Management System (CMS) - fascinating open-source world-wide project as very good and solid basis for creating and maintaining of radio amateur web sites. I am very glad that number of friends, clubs and organisations utilize the power of Joomla CMS. Last time I recognized new fresh impressive pages of OM9OT Old-Timers Club SARA Web Site or OK2IEN Web Pages. For more interesting examples see my list of Selected Joomla Ham Web Sites .
