During the weekend 09.-10.06.2007 I had been involved in ANARTS (Australian) RTTY contest. The highest activity was on 20m band, which was opened also during night hours. The contest start in the early morning on 9th of June was suprisingly good.

Between 3:30 - 5:30 UTC I was working ZL4PW (New Zealand), VK3KE, VK6DU (both Australia) and some north american stations. Then the conditions were not so good, but before contest end in the sunday evening, there were again plenty of US stations and 3 very appreciated contacts LT0H (Argentina), PT7AZ (Brazil) and HK6P (Colombia). Aggregated results from this contest are shown in the following table :

Band  QSO  Points   Call Areas  DXCC
80m0000
40m42256520
20m24119491949
15m45214121
10m62504
 TOTAL 33424442594

From other interesting station on the 20m band here can be mentioned A45WD (Oman),YB0EIN (Indonesia later also on 15m), OY/PA0VHA (Faeroe Isl. later also on 40m), CN8KD, CN8LI (Morocco), VR2BG, VR2XLN (Hong Kong), VU2NKS (India), YV5AAX (Venezuela). First time in 16:46 UTC on 10.6.2007 I could work with californian station N6OJ and later with TF3PPN (Iceland).

From special counted areas I worked 29 US stations, 8 stations from Japan, 7 stations from Canada and 2 from Australia. Total result of 1 745 216 points as well as 334 QSO (23 hours partially interrupted operation time) were far behind my expectation and original contest planning. New FD4 antenna and full power of 100 W from IC-7400 proved their quality.

More as one year ago I found Joomla Content Management System (CMS) - fascinating open-source world-wide project as very good and solid basis for creating and maintaining of radio amateur web sites. I am very glad that number of friends, clubs and organisations utilize the power of Joomla CMS. Last time I recognized new fresh impressive pages of OM9OT Old-Timers Club SARA Web Site or OK2IEN Web Pages. For more interesting examples see my list of Selected Joomla Ham Web Sites .
