Last event in the series of great RTTY contests running in this year was OK DX RTTY Contest held on 15th Dec. 2007. In the contest station setup I used extensivelly my new automatic antenna tuner MFJ-994B (IntelliTuner). Without of detailed operation hints from AD5X I should be lost. But result was very good.

Other new arragement was using of G4ILO VOAProp HF band propagation program which very natural and easy shows the current propagation condition around the world. And the propagation conditions during OK DX contest were much better as expected in nowadays sun activity minimum.

From contacted stations I appreciate 5C5W, CN8IG (both Morocco), ZL1BYZ, ZM2A (New Zealand) on 14 MHz
ZS2EZ (South Africa), FR1HZ (Reunion Island) on 21 MHz (!) at 11 UTC
and working 7X0RY (Algeria) on 4 bands, WB9Z (USA) on 3 bands.

Speaking about some unusual stations I like to mention contact with VQ9LA (Chagos Archipelago - Diego Garcia Isl.) during TARA RTTY held on 1st Dec.2007. This 14 MHz QSO was real suprise for me.

More as one year ago I found Joomla Content Management System (CMS) - fascinating open-source world-wide project as very good and solid basis for creating and maintaining of radio amateur web sites. I am very glad that number of friends, clubs and organisations utilize the power of Joomla CMS. Last time I recognized new fresh impressive pages of OM9OT Old-Timers Club SARA Web Site or OK2IEN Web Pages. For more interesting examples see my list of Selected Joomla Ham Web Sites .
