Scottish-Russian Amateur Radio Society held on the weekend 20/21. Sept. 2008 the RTTY DX contest during absolute sun activity minimum. I did not expected some great results, especially when higher bands 21 and 28 were expected to be fully closed. I took part on the contest mostly as the preparation for comming CQ WW RTTY DX Contest next weekend. Anyway the heard station participation was moderate and the results I had better as the final totals last year. I was very glad to have first contacts with Viktor UK8AKK (Uzbekistan) and non-contesting Didier TU5KC (Ivory Coast) from Abidjan.
