Last weekend I took part on BARTG (British Amateur Radio Teledata Group) RTTY contest. This year very poor propagation conditions were on the band and I left behind 2008 result quite 100 thousand points.
Small satisfaction were saturday half-hour run on 80m with plenty of europian stations, contacts with Peter (HA3AUI) working as J5UAP from Guinea-Bissau, YB0 (Indonesia, bringing Oceania continent), YV5 (Venezuela), LT0H (Argentina), TR8CA (GABON) as well as WA5ZUP (USA, New Mexico - my #40 US state for WAS award).
Searching in internet for J5UAP working condition I found that HA3AUI is nowadays staying in Senegal (as 6W2SC), near the border of J5 land and often drives over to Cabroxo in J5 to make QSO contacts as J5UAP.
