| Disabling the "Bug Tracker" functionality | | |
| JotLoader FAQ | Q : If there is a way to disable the "Bug Tracker" functionality in this installation? A : The solution is quite easy - please remove the following text :
<tr><td width="12%"><a href="/radio/site/{url_bugs}">Bug Tracker</a></td><td colspan="6"></td></tr>
from File Template in Administrator/Components/JotLoader/JotLoader Settings for all download presentations, OR from Administrator/Menus/Menu/Menu Item/Parameters (Component)/Files for specific menu download presentation, and SAVE. | | Assigning multiple categories to main menu | | |
| JotLoader FAQ | Q : I can't assign multiple categories to main menu. There's just no parameter tab as it is stated in your description. I use joomla 1.0.13 and did all the advised steps: created test category, added files, created test menu item (componenet) and still cant't see the parameters tab. A : Parameter tab assignments are possible only for Joomla 1.5.x environment -> you can find it in JotLoader ver.1.3.1. For Joomla 1.0.x you have only possibility to work with JotLoader 1.0.3 version with only one template (access to settings from the component administration), but also here you can display more as one category when you select cid=0, see on my pages : http://www.kanich.net/radio/cms/component/option,com_jotloader/cid,2 http://www.kanich.net/radio/cms/component/option,com_jotloader/cid,0
| | Downloading scrambled files | | |
| JotLoader FAQ | Q : It's not possible to download Office2007 files? I can upload them but when i try to download them in the frontend they are changed to a zip-file that holds a lot of strange files. A : The upload and download of files in JotLoader component is free of any format transformations. Your problem is caused with web server settings. In Apache there is a folder called conf, under that there is a file called mime.types. This file has to contain the correct extensions for all the file-types you would like to have on your site.
